David Cowen
David Cowen blends his 35 years of experience at The Lubrizol Corporation with his interest in personal sustainability. His roles at Lubrizol included research chemist; process development engineer; various managerial roles in environmental, health and safety, and his last position being corporate public affairs manager. He has worked in both in manufacturing and corporate.
Over the past 16 years, Dave facilitated interpersonal skills and diversity workshops as well as strategic planning processes both within Lubrizol and in the local community. As owner of DLC Concepts, Dave has ten years experience facilitating workshops across Ohio on personal effectiveness, time management and leadership. As a partner is Closed Loop, LLC, Dave advises organizations on adopting new business models for implementing the principles of sustainability.
